THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING
Feed Me Onlinehas built its business around the principle that technology should support that independence, helping takeaways grow through direct ordering while retaining greater control of their customers and margins. Since 2008, it has developed technology and services that help takeaway owners run their digital channels, understand their customers, promote their menus, and keep more value from each sale.
“We put ourselves in the takeaway owner’s shoes and always try to do what is best for them. We keep our costs as low as possible so we can pass those savings on to takeaways, which can then be passed on to their customers,” says Matthew Elliston, director.
From Digital Tools to Business Control
Feed Me Online combines branded websites and apps with online orders, EPOS, customer database management, reports, SMS, email and promotion support. Its EPOS is designed for the pace of a busy takeaway, with a simple interface that can serve operators with limited technical experience or English as a second language. The company also connects its takeaway network with about 50 cash-and-carry partners across the UK, where members can access discounts, special offers, and supplier benefits. The result is an ecosystem that supports both customer activity and day-to-day business needs.
Customer Ownership in Practice
One restaurant’s experience shows how this model works in practice. A busy takeaway in northeast England was processing a high volume of orders through Just Eat and other platforms, yet its owner discovered that the revenue generated did not translate into enough take-home income. Feed Me Online reviewed the restaurant’s finances, installed its EPOS, and helped launch a dedicated app and website. SMS campaigns, flyers, and social media then encouraged existing customers to move to the restaurant’s direct channels. Within three to six months, direct orders through Feed Me Online their own apps and website, had overtaken those from the other platforms, and the owner was able to switch them off. The shift gave him greater control over his customers and nearly 20,000 more in annual income.
While the market includes newer, smaller providers, the company’s years of industry experience allow it to offer greater value, backed by established expertise, proven knowledge, and a strong understanding of customer needs.
Feed Me Online’s ambition is to reshape the future of independent food businesses. Built from firsthand experience, the company’s mission is to give owners back what is often their most valuable resource: time. By combining smarter supply solutions, seamless ordering, and practical technology, Feed Me Online aims to help entrepreneurs spend less time managing the pressure of daily operations and more time building the businesses, relationships, and lives they value. The goal is not to replace the human side of hospitality, but to protect it and ensure that the people who create the industry’s most personal experiences have the freedom to enjoy them too.
