Machine learning technology is growing at a rapid speed, such that the hotel industry has embraced its services to give personalized services to customers.
FREMONT, CA: Machine learning services allow hotel managers to deliver a better end-user experience. The technology is growing at a rapid speed, and today hotel industry has embraced machine learning services. This allows organizations to improve operations by leveraging the technology to give personalized services to customers. Some of the artificial intelligence (AI) services have been developed to put machine learning in the hands of more application developers and end-users that require no experience. The AI services introduced by AWS include new machine learning-powered enterprise search, code reviews and profiling, fraud detection, medical transcription, and human review of AI predictions. Here are the two that can potentially help in the hospitality industry.
Amazon Kendra
For today’s enterprises, finding the information they need is a daunting task as organizations have a huge amount of unstructured text data that are stored in many formats and spread across different data sources. Even with the existence of standard web-based search tools, organizations will find internal search difficult as no available tools do a proper job indexing across existing data silos, don’t provide natural language queries, and do not deliver accurate results.
Amazon Kendra breaks the barrier by allowing employees to search across multiple silos of data using real questions and not just keywords. It deploys AI technology to deliver the precise answers which the employees seek. Kendra ensures that search results adhere to existing document access policies by scanning permissions on documents to which the user has access. Also, Amazon Kendra actively retrains its machine learning model on a customer-specific basis to improve accuracy using user location, click-through data, and feedback to deliver better answers.
Amazon Fraud Detector
Most of the fraud management systems available today are time-consuming, expensive to customize, and challenging to keep up-to-date as fraud patterns change and have low accuracy. Amazon Fraud Detector allows fraud risk predictions through its fully managed service for detecting potential online identity and payment fraud. It deploys machine learning models to produce results in real-time. Amazon Fraud Detector also uses machine learning-based data detectors that help identify patterns commonly associated with fraudulent activity at Amazon like anomalous email naming conventions to help boost the accuracy of the trained model.
Vacasa, a full-service vacation rental management company in North America, has deployed Amazon Fraud Detector to detect fraudulent reservations accurately. This enables them to focus on making the vacation rental experience seamless and worry-free.
