FREMONT, CA: A company that provides businesses with a comprehensive cloud software solution for waste management, EcoTree, brings its investment pool to 650 thousand euros after raising 433 thousand by closing a new funding round. Sparking Capital was the lead investor in this funding session, and SeedBlink was the crowd investing platform. Further, Cosmin Manea, founding partner of InstaShop, joined the new business angels. They aim to utilize this new funding for 100 per cent digitalization of bureaucratic processes through the digital signature and the internationalization of the business model in other European countries.

In Romania, EcoTree is the first digital platform that contributes to a clean and sustainable environment by providing tangible and measurable benefits to the waste management industry. It ensures complete transparency and traceability by digitizing operational processes and legal documentation through business intelligence modules, dedicated tendering modules, and more. This company was established in 2017 by Bogdan Andronache, Alexandru Petrescu, Marius Cîrstea, and Dan Simota with the aim to digitalize specific processes of waste collection and recycling, positioning itself as a significant player in the circular economy. Currently, the company holds contracts with multinational clients from the beverage, food, and retail industries. More than 60 users directly manage their waste operations through the EcoTree digital platform. Additionally, around 40 waste collection companies licensed for all waste types are registered on the platform globally. The increasing user activity on the platform certifies that EcoTree responds to market needs by providing businesses with a modern digital solution for waste management operations.
