GoTab will donate 5 cents for each purchase processed for participating venues through the CORE: Children of Restaurant Employees Platform to help food and beverage service workers with children on an ongoing basis.
FREMONT, CA: Restaurant commerce platform GoTab recently unveiled a new partnership with CORE: Children of Restaurant Employees. The business is one of the first technology affiliates of the non-profit company and the CORE Silver Supporter. GoTab presence in CORE goes beyond conventional business engagement. GoTab will donate 5 cents for each purchase processed for participating venues through the CORE: Children of Restaurant Employees Platform to help food and beverage service workers with children on an ongoing basis.
"Our CORE partnership is critically important to us in this moment when operators and their employees are working so hard to overcome every challenge," said Tim McLaughlin, CEO, GoTab. "We are honored to be able to help families of the hospitality industry with direct resources when the unexpected happens."
CORE is a globally recognized network of care for all food and beverage staff with children, offering financial aid and assistance in the case of a medical crisis, accident, death, or natural catastrophe. CORE's mission is perfectly matched with GoTab's first approach to hospitality. Built by restaurateurs, GoTab was developed to satisfy the evolving needs and demands of customers and help operators place hospitality first. GoTab's easy-to-use smartphone POS, contactless ordering and payment features, and Kitchen Management Systems (KMS) enable operators to have a secure and pleasant atmosphere for workers and diners alike. GoTab and CORE are pursuing new strategies to extend this relationship and raise awareness of the need to help families in the hospitality sector beyond the pandemic.
"We are thrilled to join forces with GoTab and count a technology leader among our industry partners," said Sheila Bennett, Executive Director, CORE. "The continuous support GoTab is offering will be instrumental in providing financial assistance to families of restaurant employees during this unprecedented time when a health crisis or natural disaster can add financial stress."
